TAKEAWAYS

Learn how to identify who angel investors are as well as who/what are seed stage VCs. Once you know how to find them, you’ll also learn how to identify the right ones.

Become familiar with what the angel fundraising process looks like, how it is different than with VCs, and what is most important to all investors.

Understand how to become more effective in targeting, pitching, and negotiating seed capital for your venture.

Discover different types/formats of pitches: learn their similarities, differences, advantages, disadvantages, and how to choose the right one for your venture.

Find out what’s important in a term-sheet, what the difference is between “Preferred Equity” and “Convertible Notes”, and what the pros and cons are for entrepreneurs and investors.

Know how angels and other investors add value after the deal closes, what you should expect, and how to make the most of it.
