We're rebooting the Sacramento WordPress Meetup, and we want you (to volunteer)!
The new organizing team is committed to a monthly meet up focused on networking, spotlighting awesome WordPress activity in Sacramento, and helping one another solve challenges we're conquering with WordPress. We have a diverse community: businesses and publishers using WordPress as their platform, developers building on WordPress, designers that want to extend their skill set, power bloggers, and just curious fans. This meet up is for all of you.
To that end, our first meet up is going to put the spotlight on 3-4 members of our community with short, 5-10 minute lightning talks! We're not just looking for developers and pros. We're hoping for 1 developer centric talk, and at least a few "use case" talks - maybe a business who uses WordPress to manage their website, or maybe a power blogger that wants to show off their 5 favorite plug-ins. We're going to have a small sponsor for each meet up, so we can provide complimentary finger food, snacks, and drinks. I like to lead by example, so my WordPress-centric agency, 10up (10up.com) will sponsor our reboot!
