All companies that go through the Startup Orange County accelerator will showcase their company and progress at the end of the three month program in a Demo Day event. This event will consist of presentations by each company, Q&A and other networking opportunities.
Demo Day gives each company a chance to showcase their company to an audience of investors, community representatives and other entrepreneurs.
What are the awards?
We give top Startup Weekend teams $15,000 along with one of those top teams receiving an additional $10,000 after completing the 3 month accelerator portion of the program, which takes place after Startup Weekend and culminates with Demo Day. There are two cycles of this event annually with additional in kind services offered to the participants.
Who are the sponsors?
Our sponsors are from diverse backgrounds. We look for organizations that can offer increased value to our participants and that can accentuate the development of our program. Companies ranging from website development to patent attorneys are very welcome to participate in our program as sponsors of our participants through in kind professional services.
Demo Day is open to all and is free to attend upon registration with Eventbrite. As a particular class's Demo Day approaches we will link to an Eventbrite page where you can register to attend the event.
