Ready to expand your knowledge of HTML & CSS? This class is for you!

Through the course of the day, you'll get a thorough introduction to HTML5 and CSS3 to build on your previous knowledge. You'll get hands-on experience working with HTML5 features like semantic elements and forms, and you'll learn new CSS3 properties and abilities including transformations, transitions, and animation. Finally, we'll dig into responsive design and browser compatibility.

You'll leave with readily-applicable skills and we'll be there to answer any questions you may have along the way!

The course will be taught by our Founding Instructor Cara Jo Miller, UI/UX Designer at Are You A Human, founder of Run This Race and co-organizer of Refresh Detroit and WordCamp Detroit.

**It is highly recommended that you take our introductory course (or have previous experience with HTML & CSS) prior to taking this class. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS are assumed.
