Here's what we have on tap for the July meetup:
Chris Rogers, Theme install and configuration
In his own words: For the first 20 minutes , Chris Rogers will continue on with his topics for beginners, WP FOR BABIES. He will quickly review last month's session on themes and then continue on with downloading and installing themes. You will watch via the projector screen as he shows you how easy this is. and of course, more Jazz Hands! ;-). WP FOR BABIES is just for the Beginners, so if you are an Advanced user - relax, take your time, pick up a cup of coffee before rushing to the MeetUp.
Don Cramer, Picking a slider
Michael Cremean, WordPress concepts for noobs (in plain English with pretty pictures.)
As the founder of Quadshot Software (quadshot.com), Mike spends a lot of his time answering questions from people who know nothing about WordPress. How do you explain WordPress development projects to people who think the 'e' they click on is 'The Internet'?
This presentation is to share ways to explain WordPress in simple terms to non-technical people so they 'get it'. Some questions examples we'll cover are What's WordPress?, What's Open Source?, Can't I do this myself? and How much does a website cost?.
