We believe that everyone has a fundamental right to turn an idea into an economic reality, regardless of who you are or where you’re from, with zero barriers in the way. We’re calling on every entrepreneur – and everyone who fights for entrepreneurs – to help clear the path for the makers, the doers, the dreamers.

Join the Zero Barriers Movement

Our founder, Ewing Marion Kauffman, believed that if you have an idea, you have a fundamental right to start a business to make it a reality. Yet, the startup rate today is roughly half what it was in 1980.

We believe entrepreneurship is a fundamental human right for everyone.

You should not need a formal degree. It shouldn’t matter your race, your age, your gender, or where you live. You should be able to start a business quickly, inexpensively, without confusion and without barriers.

In true entrepreneurial spirit, we cannot wait for others to fix these problems.

We—the dreamers, the makers, the doers—are challenged to act.

Join the Zero Barriers Movement. Share challenges and uncommon solutions to help people turn their ideas into reality.

I believe in the opportunity of entrepreneurship.
